Stella Maris in the Storm is a body of work presented at the Venice Glassweek 2021.

Modernity and patriarchy have uprooted us spiritually by turning our relationship with the earth into one of domination and extraction. This has not only severed our connection with the earth, but also the connection between heaven, earth and the underworld.

We lost the understanding of the cosmos, the sense of the seasons, the messages from the stars. We lost ourselves and the storm is global.

We desperately need to hear the healing rain song of the water nymphs, of the mermaids, of Stella Maris. Their singing is about the new waters of life flooding our dried out spiritual landscape.
